Answerless question

- This doubtful question... looks dangerous
- Don't even ask it
- Why should I keep it here inside?
- To not harm the others
- But... how much will it last before it kills me?
- It's not doing anything to you
- Not yet. Soon it will
- Don't be selfish, die you alone, don't kill the others
- When have I cared about people?
- Never you did. But you should start doing so someday
- I am, that's why I'll stay silent
- You care, don't you?
- Not at all. I don't wanna fall in selfishness
- I see... Anyways, what will you win by showing it to the world? You know there's no answer, it will be useless
- True. But I fear I cannot hold it when it begins to kill me...
- Stop thinking about it
- I can't, it's wandering through my head, day and night... I hate the day I asked it!
- Don't kill the others too, humans don't deserve this
- How come this apparently stupid question can be this dangerous?...
- Because there's no answer. At least not here
- But maybe keeping the question here won't allow me to reach the place where the answer lies in
- Terror paradox...
- At least... I have to research more...
- I shall help you
- Thanks.
- Let's get moving, let's start this quest at once!
- Yeah, let's go

Not a human feeling

What is this I feel? It's not sadness, it's not joy, it's not wrath, it's not anything I can name, it's just a pleasant sensation. Read a song that perfectly fits my soul's size and shape, words that somehow describe my thoughts, a soft melody that carries a colour that only I can understand, that only I can hold without getting harmed, a key that common people's hearts can't get opened with, a diamond-edged sword to get through the endless maze of an unknown world inhabited by a peaceful war man...

This what I feel is not a human feeling... It's greater, powerful. Makes me feel found into myself for first time after years of being lost where strength can barely do anything. I finally know who am I.

I see myself walking through a completely new path.
It's time to start the next quest.
Good bye.

Joe Satriani's Love thing

So, until the moment this is my second cover; this is Joe Satriani's song "Love thing" from the album "Crystal Planet" (1998).

Although it's recorded with a terrible setup, I hope you like it.

I recorded and released it for this year's Valentine's Day.

Dance of Eternity

Your sight is the light that pierces my brain with no pain,
so hard that it ends up in shards,
still, there's no sorrow as I'll see you tomorrow.

Up in flames, I wonder if this is lame,
this fire burns my life's tire,
I obtain a different course once again.

As strong as the sound of a gong,
it just brakes the calm of my lonely lake.
Why can I not stand strong to this hand?
Why am I so weak to this fantastic?

Lies the answer within the ties
of an extraordinary exquisite rice,
varying at some times from fire to ice
enabling me to find what stops my cries.

Joining thousands of ideas,
organising all of my thoughts,
verifying all the possibilities,
I've made of you from all my dreams the main

No, this isn't Dream Theater's song lyrics (starting by the song has no lyrics, it's fully instrumental). I titled this poem (if it can be called like that) this way because of what "Dance of Eternity" means, the very last sentence of Dream Theater's song "Metropolis Pt.1 The Miracle and The Sleeper" tells what does it mean.

The memory

A black feather slowly falls from really high. "Whats is this feather doin' here, in the middle of the city's sunny day?"... A random woman tells you «I have the answer...», you follow her hesitating. She has a little store, you both go in, it's empty, nobody ever enters. «The feather never fell, you brought it» she said. You don't undersant at all what she meant. «Some part of you is calling for help» she adds. What is that supposed to mean? Is it maybe that there's something of your past that is not fixed? It has to be from the past, otherwise it wouldn't have been your child self the one you saw in your dream. And it has to be your past since it was your child self the one you saw in it...
«The real answer lives within you. The only answer I had was "The feather never fell". But it was the key, your key for your own maze». After saying this, she gives you a golden pencil. «I'm about to close, thanks for coming» she says. "What? It's still sunny, why would she close so soon? Doesn't make any sense... Whatever, this woman was really wierd at all".

The day ends, you lay on your bed, something doesn't let you sleep. "What's that smell?" Smells like oil, and it's really strong, it comes from under your bed. You crouch.

"What happened? Where am I?" Desert, this is a desert, a dry-soiled desert. You look everywhere and after a while you see something far away. While walking towards it, you notice something strange: the sky is blindin-white and at the top of it there's a black sun. You are closer to the thing you saw and you get to notice it's an old holed ship, so you start running to it to see if there's anybody around or inside it. You stand right a few steps away from it. Silence, complete silence... It hurts...
"Here's where the smell came from". You walk slowly towards it and «Stop!» somebody shouts. You don't see anybody anywhere. "It must be the heat", you are about to give one more step, «Stop!» again... The sensation is freezing, creepy... You look everywhere again, and you see something you didn't notice before, there was a red crow standing at the frontal corner of the ship staring directly at you. "Is that the voice? Go on, keep walking". Indeed, the crow was the one shouting you to stop, and it kept shouting as you were getting close, "Just ignore it, I need to find out what is goin' on".
There are stairs at one side of the ship to get in. You climb them up. Once you hit the ship's floor, the voice disappeared, "Where is it?". You look everywhere once again, until you finally notice that the red crow was down, laying dead on the dry-soiled desert's floor, "Why did it suddenly die?". You keep walking and see something shiny right in the middle of the ship, "Isn't that... the golden watch I used to wear when child? Maybe my child self is somewhere here!", so you walk towards it to pick it up, and before you reach it the floor crumbles, brakes and you fall.
